Pathway to Prevention

Are you one of those people who takes for granted a healthy heart until it isn’t so healthy?

The decisions you make today can impact your heart for the rest of your life. The Alaska Heart Institute and Providence Heart Center have collaborated to help you and your heart by designing a new program to help in the fight against heart disease – Pathway to Prevention.

The program includes an initial visit that features:
  • Consultation with a cardiologist
  • Routine and specialized blood testing
  • Personalized 10-year risk assessment
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Exercise physiology consultation
  • Healthy heart planning
  • Coronary Calcium Imaging

Additional services available based on the results of the initial consultation:
  • Additional specialized blood testing
  • Stress testing
  • Cardiac and vascular imaging
  • Follow-up visits at three and six months
  • Referrals to subspecialties as needed

We have answers when you need them the most and not a minute too late. The initial visit is $250 payable at time of service, check with your insurance provider for coverage.

To schedule your initial consultation, call (907) 561-3211.
