How we extend care beyond our doors
Every day we provide a caring environment in which every person, including the poor and most vulnerable members of our community, can receive medical attention. Yet when we look into our hearts, we understand there is more that we can do, so we extend the care we provide communities beyond the work we do in our facilities. We participate with several organizations in our efforts to reach out to others. A few examples of this work include:
-
Alaska SafeKids, a two-decade old program that helps prevent childhood injuries by funding numerous safety education programs and by providing bike helmets and car seats to those in need across the state
-
Providence ElderPlace in Seattle is Washington’s first program for all-inclusive care for the elderly, offering in-home services as well as nursing home care
-
San Fernando Violence Prevention Coalition, a decade old program in southern California that we support by offering free tattoo removal for citizens looking to give up their gang identities
-
Addiction Recovery Center in Medford, Oregon that provides addicts with opportunities to turn their lives around
-
Frequent donations of medical equipment and supplies to organizations in 25 different third world countries around the globe.
