Nursing Neighborhoods at The Mount

Welcome To The Neighborhood!
Nursing Neighborhoods are clusters of private and semi-private rooms for about 20 residents. Each neighborhood has its own staff of professionals who offer 24-hour care in a home-like atmosphere.

Each neighborhood is decorated in its own color scheme and decor. Like most homes, the focus of each neighborhood is a large kitchen/dining/family area which serves as the central gathering spot for meals and activities.

Program Goal
The goal of each care team within the neighborhood is to respond to each resident's needs and personal choices. Each staff member is there to honor the dignity and diversity of residents, and to make every effort to encourage and help restore wellness. Providence Mount St. Vincent is nationally recognized as setting the standard in resident-directed care.

Services Available
Rehabilitation therapies, spiritual care, medical services, social services and recreational activities are available. Rates include three balanced, nutritious meals and snacks. Medications, therapy services and physician visits are available at additional costs.

Short-Stay Neighborhood (SubAcute Care)
The Short-Stay Neighborhood is a Medicare-approved unit designed for a short stay following illness and hospitalization. The staff provides sub-acute care, skilled and rehabilitative services in a friendly, caring community environment.
