Dr. Fisher approaches patient care with the philosophy, "Listen to the patient. Be honest with the patient. Never stop caring." He understands the importance of establishing effective communication and encouraging his patients to take active roles in their care. A board certified general surgeon, Dr. Fisher earned his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif.
Born in Long Island, N.Y., Dr. Fisher is married and has a son and a daughter.
