| Kevin Sellars, M.D. - Internal Medicine |
As a primary care physician Dr. Sellars strives to support patients in achieving their health goals, works in partnership with them and serves as their advocate. In his practice he emphasizes "quality of life," noting that "medicine is not about disease; it is concerned with how we can use our knowledge and skill to meaningfully enhance the quality of life regardless of someone's condition."
For Dr. Sellars, forming a relationship with his patients in which he can work with them to provide optimal health care and support through difficult times is the most rewarding aspect of his work. "Every patient is someone's loved one and should be treated not only as I want to be cared for, but as I want my own family to be cared for," he says.
Dr. Sellars earned his M.D. at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Roger Williams Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine and was chief medical resident at this institution.
A native Oregonian, Dr. Sellars is excited to be returning to Oregon where he and his family can become part of the community.
